Core Academic Program
Innovator's Forum 9 – English 9 (B): Through real-world projects and innovative solutions, students develop critical thinking and writing skills. The course emphasizes problem-solving, project-based assessments, and writing for social change. Students analyze contemporary challenges and propose creative solutions through various forms of written and digital communication.

Algebra I (C): Mathematics meets technology in this integrated course. Students learn
fundamental algebraic concepts while developing web design skills through HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The course combines traditional mathematics with programming concepts, preparing students for the digital age while strengthening their analytical abilities.
 
Next Generation Biology (D): Students explore biological systems through an innovative lens, integrating scientific principles with real-world applications. This laboratory-based course emphasizes hands-on experimentation, research projects, and the interconnectedness of biological systems. Students develop scientific inquiry skills while exploring cutting-edge developments in biological sciences.

Physical Education & Wellness
Physical Education & Health: A comprehensive approach to physical and mental wellness. Students engage in fitness activities while learning about nutrition, stress management, and overall well-being. The program integrates health education with physical activity to promote lifelong healthy habits.
 
World Language
Spanish (E): Students develop language proficiency while gaining cultural understanding of Spanish-speaking communities worldwide. The course emphasizes practical communication skills and global perspectives, preparing students for international engagement in business and innovation.
 
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
Semester 1: Entrepreneurial Studies - Business Plans (G): Students learn the fundamentals of business development and innovation. The course covers business plan creation, market analysis, financial literacy, and innovative business strategies. Students develop practical skills for transforming creative ideas into viable ventures.
 
Semester 2: Entrepreneurial Studies - Speech (G): Building on entrepreneurial studies,
students develop professional presentation skills and receive feedback from industry
professionals. The course culminates in a Business Plan Competition, providing real-world experience in pitching innovative ideas.
 
Community & Support Programs
House: Students join cross-generational houses that foster community, collaboration, and mentorship. House creates a supportive environment where students develop academically, socially, and personally throughout their four years at IYC. Students meet with their advisor and advisory group daily, establishing strong mentoring relationships that span their entire high school experience.

Milk & Cookies Workshops Special sessions where students share interests, develop passion projects, and build community through collaborative learning experiences.

All courses align with UC A-G requirements where indicated by letter designation.
